THE GLORIOUS CHURCH
S – Scripture: Revelation 14: 1-4 (NKJV)
Then I looked, and behold, a Lamb standing on Mount Zion, with Him one hundred and forty-four thousand, having His Father's name written on their foreheads. And I heard a voice from heaven, like the voice of many waters, and like the voice of loud thunder. And I heard the sound of harpists playing their harps. They sang as if it were a new song before the throne, before the four living creatures, and the elders; and no one could learn the song except the hundred and forty-four thousand who were redeemed from the earth. These are the ones who were not defiled with women, for they are virgins. These are the ones who follow the Lamb wherever He goes, These were redeemed from among men, being firstfruits to God and to the Lamb.
O - Observation
Jesus as the Lamb is the one who draws our attention to the heavenly realm. The Church has the Father's name written on their foreheads. When God speaks His voice is awesome, like many waters, thunder, and yet with the sound of harpist playing. The Holy Redeemed Church washed in the Blood of the Lamb sing a new song before the Throne, that only they can sing, and the Heavenly beings look on in wonder.
A - Application
As we allow Jesus to be central in our lives, we will delight in His Presence and understand the voice of the Father as He seeks to get our attention, that we will respond in Praise and Worship singing the song of the redeemed as we have been made Holy by the BIood of the Lamb.
P - Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father we thank you for Jesus who united us with you through His shed blood, we are now part of the worldwide Church with a song to sing of Praise to the King of Kings and Lord of Lords to you be glory forever.
