IF YOU ARE?

S – Scripture: Matthew 4:3 (NKJV)
1“The devil came to Jesus and said, “If you are the Son of God then..”

O - Observation
The devil came to tempt Jesus in 3 different areas, all of them to attack His identity. But Jesus knew who He was, where He had come from and what the Scriptures said.

A - Application
He does the same to us. He comes to attack our identity, that is why we need to know who our God is, who our Saviour Jesus is, who we are as sons and daughters of the most high and what the word of God says. When we are attacked we are as His children to know and use the word of God as a weapon against his attacks and lies.

As we start this year, lets remind ourselves who our God is, who we are as His children and hide his word in our hearts, and speak it out with our lips.

P - Prayer
You are our God, our Father and our Shepherd, and our identity is found in You. We will walk through this year knowing who You are, and knowing who You say we are, your children, sons and daughters of the Most High God.
