WALK WITH ME

S – Scripture: Matthew 11:28-30 (MSG)
“Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to Me! Get away with Me and you’ll recover your life. I’ll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with Me and work with Me – watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won’t lay anything heavy or ill-footing on you. Keep company with Me and you’ll learn to live freely and lightly.”

O - Observation
When reading this year I want to try and read slowly so that I can listen to what I am reading and to what in this case Jesus is saying. Come to who? Come to Me Jesus said. Come hang with Me Jesus said. Walk with Me – Keep company with Me.

A - Application
The King of the Universe, The Light of the World, The one who died for Me and rose again for Me to give me eternal life – is asking ME – YOU – to Walk With Him – To Come to Him – to recover your life – How do I respond to what He is asking me to do? What is my reply? What do I need to talk to Him about that concerns my life? Jesus said Come to Me – Walk with Me.

P - Prayer
Jesus help me to respond to Your invitation, not to try and walk out my life on my own. I surrender my mind to you and pour out my heart, the things that weigh me down. You are my burden bearer.
