We are BIG hearted people and we love to serve.

Most of the people that call HopePoint church home,                                                                     volunteer in some way and we have lots of opportunities to get involved.

HopePoint Church is involved in many local community projects where we give both money and time to, such as Twilight Sports where we help to cater for about 100 at risk young people on a Saturday night. Pins and Needles where useful items are made to be given to hospitals such as Cancer Caps and Premi Baby Sets. We have a team ready to prepare meals for those in need.  MS Breakfasts to fund equipment for the local MS Gymnasium. As a community we are looking after our local Nursing Home by sending our school students in regularly to perform a concert and our church is caring with Pastoral oversights where a Chaplin visits the residents. We have just started a Dance Group for Primary aged students that runs each Wednesday from 4pm - 5pm during school terms for a gold coin donation.

HopePoint Church is also helping to enlarge the Irene Baker Health Centre at Fore’ Papua New Guinea to a Palliative Care Centre for Women with Terminal Cancer.
