Sermons

HopePoint Church ministers and special guests bring Bible-based sermons to us. Every week God challenges the church through these messages. In our message library you'll find video recordings of our recent messages. iTunes listeners can even subscribe to our audio podcast.

The Original Dozen 'Andrew and Philip with Bec Tobar - 15 July 2018

If Andrew and Phillip were here today, they would remind us... that Jesus cared for people's souls and their natural needs, so should we. To Do that, you'll need to bring what you have to Jesus and watch him add his blessing to it AND WATCH IT MULTIPLY.

The Original Dozen 'MATTHEW The Despised Misfit' with Warren Mortomore - 8 July 2018

Matthew's life experiences shaped him into a true leader. He was the outcast who loved other outcasts. He gave no place to religious hypocrisy. He had experienced forgiveness and he wanted others to do the same.

Sons and Daughters with Bec Tobar - 24 June 2018

If we do not know our standing with our Father and within the Family of God, we will live as spectators. Distant in spirit, visitors who come and go and not Sons and Daughters of the Father's house. At that is not God's best for us. In Gal.

We believe in expressing ourselves to God with music.

We have an active team of musicians, singers and songwriters who bring a musical expression to our corporate worship that is unique to our church family.

Check out some of our original songs on our recordings.

Bible Reading Plan

Here at HopePoint Church we are all encouraged to do the same reading plan. The benefit that we have found from all reading the same plan, is that we are all on the same page and can easily encourage one another in a relevant way.

Start your day with Bible in One Year, a Bible reading app with commentary by Nicky and Pippa Gumbel. Nicky Gumbel is the Vicar of HTB in London and pioneer of Alpha. 'My favourite way to start the day.' - Bear Grylls, Adventurer.

You can find Bible in One Year  HERE.  You can also download their app to your Phone or Tablet.

We also have a print out of the daily readings HERE.

How do I Journal?

One way to journal is to use the following acronym:

S – Write down the Scripture verse that stands out to you

O – What Observation can you make about the verse? Consider the context of the passage.

A – What is the Application of scripture for your personal life?

P – Respond to God in Prayer based on what has been highlighted to you from the passage.

Weekly Devotionals

It all started when…

Wayne Cordeiro visited our church in 2005, and encouraged us as a church to start journaling and record the things that God shows us through our daily devotions.

To encourage our church family, someone from our core team shares a journal entry each week to encourage the church.
