HopePoint Church ministers and special guests bring Bible-based sermons to us. Every week God challenges the church through these messages. In our message library you'll find video recordings of our recent messages. iTunes listeners can even subscribe to our audio podcast.

The Original Dozen 'John - The Apostle of Love' with Bec Tobar - 12 August 2018

John's story is one of transformation through relationship and intimacy with the son of God. In fact the book of John reveals a mature John this "son of thunder" proclaiming that Jesus took away the eternal punishment of our sin (justice) and this incredible act of justification is the greatest mercy anyone could ever know.

The Original Dozen 'The Others' with Ethan Mortomore - 5 August 2018

They all took the call of delivering the transforming Gospel through until their last days. They did not, and could not stop but continue on on their mission. Because they were Unknown does not mean they were Unworthy.

The Original Dozen 'Thomas The Pessimist' with Warren Mortomore - 29 July 2018

Your doubts - your questions don't overwhelm God. Keep pressing into Jesus. He understands your weaknesses - your doubts - your uncertainties. Allow His peace and his promises to fill your life. If Thomas believed, then so can you.

We believe in expressing ourselves to God with music.

We have an active team of musicians, singers and songwriters who bring a musical expression to our corporate worship that is unique to our church family.

Check out some of our original songs on our recordings.

Bible Reading Plan

Here at HopePoint Church we are all encouraged to do the same reading plan. The benefit that we have found from all reading the same plan, is that we are all on the same page and can easily encourage one another in a relevant way.

Start your day with Bible in One Year, a Bible reading app with commentary by Nicky and Pippa Gumbel. Nicky Gumbel is the Vicar of HTB in London and pioneer of Alpha. 'My favourite way to start the day.' - Bear Grylls, Adventurer.

You can find Bible in One Year  HERE.  You can also download their app to your Phone or Tablet.

We also have a print out of the daily readings HERE.

How do I Journal?

One way to journal is to use the following acronym:

S – Write down the Scripture verse that stands out to you

O – What Observation can you make about the verse? Consider the context of the passage.

A – What is the Application of scripture for your personal life?

P – Respond to God in Prayer based on what has been highlighted to you from the passage.

Weekly Devotionals

It all started when…

Wayne Cordeiro visited our church in 2005, and encouraged us as a church to start journaling and record the things that God shows us through our daily devotions.

To encourage our church family, someone from our core team shares a journal entry each week to encourage the church.
